6000 feels pretty low. 600…ouch. Might be a function of moving off cloud and back to in house.

Wonder how Reddit is dealing with this. If there’s an increase in scraping, I’m sure they are seeing something similar.

It’s completely unusable - was my #1 app used for the last 7 years, now nothing. I’ll most likely deactivate if this isn’t reversed.

Wtf! BTW: I was trying to zap you and you do not have configured an address 🤔

I prefer not to share any of my financial info regardless of how it works for a couple of dollars, doesn’t seem worth it to me.

Nostr is indifferent to being scrapped ?

good question

Generally yes? But have to see how it scales.

1. offer a good relay with superb spam control, perhaps custom filters.

2. wait for people to use it.

3. scrape it from your local database

Think there has been a bit of a rethink👀

How is the is free speech if you have to pay? It's a centrilzed platform

Well, it does need revenue to run. Ad model or subscription or commerce or all three for ideal resiliency.

Ad model is fine. Commerce is fine. Subscription for priority is fine. But to limit access to free speech based on payment is not the way

Is it the scraping issue though? Macron said he wanted to limit access to social media as a measurement against the riots in France. Then Elon comes to the rescue with this… 🤔
