Exactly: it is working! For those closest to the money printer. The wealth gap isn’t a flaw - it’s a feature of fiat capitalism. Inflate the supply, inflate the gap

How is, say, Amazon close to the money printer? I get that they can take loans but that doesn’t explain billions in profits and thousands of workers poverty.
Well, Amazon is close to the money printer; not directly, but systemically. Cheap debt fuels expansion, buybacks, automation. The fiat system rewards scale, not value. Workers are a cost. Stockholders are gods. The fiat game is rigged for asset holders. Amazon wins because it plays that game at scale. Workers don’t.
So stockholders profit from staking capital…not providing work?
Exactly. In fiat capitalism, capital earns yield , labor earns leftovers. Stockholders get richer doing nothing, because the system inflates assets, not wages. Staking capital is rewarded. Providing value isn’t. That’s not capitalism, that’s rent-seeking at fiat scale.
So, what is capitalism? Are we not using the tenets outlined by Adam Smith?
