What cruise line would you recommend for Mediterranean cruises? We're considering doing one next summer for our 20th wedding anniversary. Thanks!

I’ve been on one cruise it was Disney. We brought our two teenagers and it was awesome. I was told them that doesn’t get any better than the Disney cruises. If I was going to go on another cruise, I might try virgin. Where are you gonna leave from?

The kids would not be coming on this one 😜 I don't really have any major preferences for ports yet. I have always wanted to see Rome, Venice, Athens, Santorini.

Well, where are you take off From can definitely change prices so you wanna pick a route that has a lot of choices

And I do love the idea and I think it’s very smart to take a cruise from Lake Florida to the Mediterranean and then fly back. You might be able to get a repositioning cruise. That was one way.

From like Florida not lake using voice and Costco always has really good deals

I’ve also decided that spending as much time in Alaska that I have that taking a cruise there is not a great idea. You’re better off going there and just spending a couple weeks.

I've had great experiences on Royal Caribbean. Cruised on the Oasis and Allure. Ships are massive. Lots to do or you can just relax.

Please ignore reply. I read Caribbean not Mediterranean. Haha

They do Mediterranean too.

You know, you could cruise right to either side of Newfoundland! Bring a sweater. 😂

What’s your budget?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Whatever you do, don’t go. On Carnival.

I would recommend prioritizing around destinations rather than lines at this point. Not all may go to your preferred stops.

Celebrity, Royal, and Norwegian are good mid range companies.

If you want higher end, Regent and Silversea are great.

I did Carnival 20 years ago. It seems they've gone downhill since then.

I know Ive been scrolling Nostr too hard. I read this as “Carnivore”.

Royal Caribbean. Have done numerous cruises in the Mediterranean on RCL-all enjoyable. Make sure you get a suite!

That's what I was looking at.

That’s a very open question, so I’m just going to give some options.

We very much enjoyed our recent Celebrity cruise, they have the best food of any ship we’ve been on.

Princess is the best allrounder, we loved doing a transatlantic with Regal Princess.

MSC have the most glamorous ships, but we’ve been disappointed with the food.

Norwegian are modern Scandinavian chic, they have some great ships.

Cunard is classic upper class British luxury if that appeals.

If you wish to push the boat out 😂

Consider something like Silverline, Emerald or Ritz Carlton which are smaller more luxurious ships. We generally don’t do these because they tend not to have theatres on board and have limited choice for food and drink, but a lot of people like the higher crew to guest ratios meaning the service is at a different level.

Star Clippers would be really special they have tall sail ships, a very different experience.

Thanks Mike!

Enjoy, it was our 20th wedding anniversary recently, we just had a week away at the coast 😂

NCL. Especially on one of their newer ships. Prima, Viva or Aqua

We cruise carnival every year, tried Royal once and it sucked (boring), but those ports were Galveston/NOLA/Miami, not yet been to the Med yet
