My dad’s plan was to live in London for a bit, then move to Canada so we could live close to his mum and sister, then possibly move back to Sri Lanka. He ended up changing his mind. In an alternate universe, I’m in Canada drinking maple syrup by a lake or I’m in Sri Lanka drinking tea, watching the sunset on the beach.
