If I can offer up my opinion, and I’m in no way a mind-reader for Saylor.

He was the longest-termed CEO of any tech company by 2020, and I believe he’d announced his departure. Then he finally had his recognition moment with Bitcoin.

I believe Saylor was always meant to be a General of a war, but his war was 30+ years running a tech company, and he’d grown tired, but was too dedicated to hand it off.

When he finally found Bitcoin it energized him, and he became the ‘best version’ of himself that he’d always wanted to become. He took on the role as a Knight fighting at the behest of Bitcoin.

He’s not perfect, none of us are, and Bitcoin teaches us to slay our heroes.

But he’s really admirable. And a strong, strong leader.

One day he’ll fail us, but….today is not that day, imho.
