Nah I don't think so. Are many others that do not love so much Bitcoin but they love money.

I think is more that Blockstream want to revive a dead project.

But ... you know what we say in Bitcoin

I gather that Blockstream is rather chaotic internally. They employ a ton of smart, opinionated people, working on wildly different projects.
