Onchain analyst @SaniExp clarifies that the US government does in fact control UTXOs for nearly 200K BTC.
The 29K BTC reported by the US Marshals are only forfeited coins, excluding confiscated BTC still held by agencies like the FBI and IRS.
The UK is now in 2nd place behind China... On paper at least. Shame our government has no clue what they're holding 🫠🫠ðŸ«
