Each day after working the feeder for sats the Lightning Goats herd goes out for a well deserved forage. They get 9/10 of their food eating what fiat maximalists would consider weeds. The rest consists of small amounts of hay and encrypted energy.

Cosmo, Nova, and Dexter do their part to regenerate the land.

We're located in South Central Colorado. The climate is a high desert, and most years we get around 8 -12 inches of rain. There are lots of native grasses, cacti, yucca, pinyon, junipers, ceders, spurges, tumble mustards, and russian thistle.
