I've had an elaborate series of lectures by my old boss, still not convinced.
Cometary material burns easily in air if small, and creates magma and plasma plumes then burns if large.
Could totally work on lower-gravity worlds tho.
Or is this a different abiotic theory?
I'm going on the Russian oligarch theory of "we don't know how it works, just that it does"
