If the universe is expanding outward from a central starting point, how can things such as asteroids be running into us? We’re traveling at 67k mph. What’s catching up to us? Or how can it be coming the other way?

I think I’m getting sick. I’ve hardly been sick since the pandemic started. Maybe two or three times and one of those was Covid. I forgot what that felt like. Better not be Covid or the flu because I was waiting for the new booster before I got my fall shots.
