True art is the formation of new. AI right now can only replicate from what has been already made.

isn't painting a landscape replicating too?

Mayb we forget to easily that there's still a creative person behind prompts that is better at painting pictures with words than hand.

There's rly creative ai gems going around imo, look:

But ofcourse.. once it's done, the magic of the particular gimmick can v quickly die out..

v useful still tho..

great to draw inspo from or even use as the outline of an actual painting

Been thinking about it this afternoon.

AI can be just another tool to create art. However, it will never be on the same plane as a Rembrandt.

We shall see in a few years when the newness wears off.
