I don't get why all of a sudden so many people close their lightning channel to my node. I had more than 50 channels a few weeks ago and now it's a little more than 30. Some of them closed their channel with fees as low as 9sat/vb. I hope they will get through at some time. #lightning #LightningNetwork #bitcoin #channel

They wanted to close channels for some time and fees are currently dropping so they think it's a good time.

I closed a few channels today as well.

Small channels are not useful, and with low fees rn it’s a great time to close em
