I’m starting next week at a bartending job. Selling snacks and only basic drinks. Any general starting advice?

You’re not asking me but:

1. Have fun!

2. You can always say “I don’t know but I’ll look it up”

3. Ignore what I say if mr sat stacker disagrees

4. Show some nip

Wearing a polo shirt but I’ll definitely ice my nipples before my shift for more tips

Learn the classics forst. Everything is a variation of the classics.

Drinks with fruit juice are shaken.

Drinks with liquor and Amaros are stirred.

You dictate the pace. Don't go faster than you are capable.

And be nice. This one is the hardest sometimes.

👍👍 don’t think I’ll have a problem with the nice part. Done restaurant jobs before.
