There are countless dialects in Japan of varying difference from the main language, but everyone understands the Tokyo dialect, the defacto standard Japanese language.
The Japanese language has dialects in its spoken language, but not in its written language. Instead, there is a dialect that is Internet slang.
Interestingly, there are already created "dialect" that is only understandable to Japanese Nostr users.
