Only difference is it's only 9 here.
I know why. I couldn't go outside for my daily 10km (dog) walk because of a strong wind. I'm in the middle of forest and afraid of falling trees.
As they said in Bombadil's house in LotR, sleep soundly and heed no nightly noise.
Or something along those lines. And knowing this, the hobbits slept soundly.
