Those countries that have lived under communistic regimes are not so enthusiastic about this view of the future as our "leaders" are... Once you give power to the Government, it never gives it back without a fight, we are now fighting for our lives because what comes after the Digital Identity is a lot worse.

The people of those countries are not, but the "leaders" of three of them are and I suspect there is a lot of pain ahead for them. The USA under Trump *might* be OK if they actually manage to get their Deep State under control and routed out.
