#nostrdb will have a query interface identical to the current nostr query format. This will provide a unified query interface to local and remote dbs, as well as enable damus to contribute to the relay side of the protocol via relay nip extensions. It will support COUNT for efficient local lookups of stats (likes, etc), no caching relays required.

Are you storing which relay provided an event? I’m thinking it would be useful for relay set switching if using any single relay for a single thing (eg, a work relay, or a relay spun up for a single conference)
