Community is great but I think we can keep it even more mvp with some sort of a subscription inbox where you only get notifications from people you subscribe to and not just follow. Then we could build a tool to send messages to all subscribers at once.

Not all content creators wish to run communities, some just want to notify of new products. I know I don’t want to run a community but being able to know for sure I can reach the people that want to hear from me and they’ll for sure see my message is super valuable.
