The southern grasshopper mouse or scorpion mouse (Onychomys torridus).

Found in Mexico and the United States of America, this rat does not feel the poison of scorpions and even eats them.

Unlike other rodents, this species has a mutation in a protein that makes these mammals resistant to Centruroides sculpturatus venom.
