Awesome thanks! Just read through that. Two things I noticed were

“OS+ has fees in it and takes hashes to pay the fees, and thus you can't secure your miner behind a secure firewall, it must talk directly to slush no matter what you do.”

Have to confirm that’s not what’s messing me up.

I will also maybe try and reinstall the firmware ultimately that seemed to fix it for him. But yeah, weird, first time I plugged it in got a few TH/s for a few seconds with a green normal light before it wound down. Hm.
