Working with an LLM gigabrain to setup a non-corporate GPT alternative for the people. The ones who want easy convenient access to AI without a ridiculous nanny filter and biased preachy moralising. One that you can customise with your own characters. One with a choice of datasets. One that respects privacy.

If you don’t care enough about this stuff to mess around trying to get LLaMA running on your computer but you find ChatGPT useful and wish it wasn’t censored so much it’s useless, this is for you.

Don’t wanna give an ETA just yet but work is underway.

There’s quite a few projects like this tbh, certainly not claiming to be unique in this pursuit, rather wishing to contribute to the collaborative effort.

Production build will be open source so anyone can host it as well. Hopefully there will be a good selection of models that can run on a normal CPU, so hosting won’t break the bank. That’s the real innovation.
