Tenor has keyboard extension? Yea unfortunately nostr clients I guess don't handle tenor well, hence we need the actual image URL. It's quick in browser when you need it, lil manual but quick once you get hang of it.

I see. Yea Damus and Amethyst just haven't accounted yet in their logic somehow

Much more basic. The Google component I use to create the TextField on the screen doesn't even support gifs from Google's own keyboard. They have to sort this out in the Gboard/library layer before Amethyst can use.

On Android, users can always use a different keyboard. Many keyboards have support for gifs, some use Tenor for search which will automatically copy-paste a gif URL like this:
