Instead of fighting web 3 people, what we should really be doing is creating clients for them. Default to NFT PFP, a way to display their NFTs etc…
Nobody has ever changed their mind by being shouted at. At least this way they’ll see zaps and will be more open to the idea passively without getting yelled at.

I wish the influencers who actually do have substance to their bitcoin dialog, and I’m greatest appreciative towards, would risk offending their core audience by telling them to cool it on the shallow memes. There is a demographic of users who would be happy to be here zapping if every 5 posts wasn’t zap farming. Unless the counterpart shitcoin influencers build a ETH nostr for these users, they will use and convert the tech we already have… we just have to get out of our own way. This doesn’t mean those who are actually at the cutting edge stop talking about it here.

This is the way! I still know real friends who are staunched ETH supporters. But ask anyone here who converted. It’s always because they got burned by terrible shitcoins, not because Bitty Maxis screamed at them.
Shameless confession, I have a small amount of ETH and ADA, not as a hard money holdings by any means, but rather as risky stock-like investments as a business technology like you’d hold Apple or Microsoft or Tesla because I think they could provide some utility as blockchain tech (better than fucking GME or AMC apes). Vitalik is probably shitting himself with all the Wells Notices floating around but the “tech” is good from a business standpoint. (I work in software tech so I come from a place of understanding) So I’m willing to risk a few Benjy’s on that front. But I’m not buying ETH like one would by Gold in the 1800’s. I’m 99% Bitty and that’s like putting a Ford GT against a bicycle…
