It kind of seems like a paradigm of legacy social media that clients pulled in just because they were trying to clone Twitter.
I'd rather have one client that specializes in a high quality DM interface.
Yeah. That’s fair. I think having secure access to dm is important on mobile devices but if it’s a private/business chat, could technically use web client that supports it more rigorously.
