Low on-chain fees mean that I can finally force close some channels that have been offline for the better part of a year 👀🥹

woah my dude... never let offline channels go that long! you run the risk of permanent loss of funds if your counterparty is dead depending on you to close and something happens to your node and.a failed backup prevents restoring to force close.
if i dont know my channel partner, i close channels that are at 7+ day risk from offline.
The five channels I force closed had a total of less than 100K sats on my side. If it was more, I would have closed them a long while ago. I also hope my backup methods are sound. I haven't tested in a while, but I know that they're still writing.
ah thats understandable. definitely a point where you get nothing after the closure and sweep fees
Anyone knows what happened to fulmo? Their node is offline for months. Should i also close my channel to them?
