“We just want people to respect us”

***Tiny group forces an entire company to comply with “pronouns” regardless of their own beliefs***

If any Bitcoiners are able to hire a hardworking, no-nonsense individual I’d love to work for a company that actually cares more about the task at hand rather than advancing the woke agenda.

Diversity of opinion is what truly matters if you want to make the world better.

I don’t understand why these people are so obsessed with race, sexual preference, and gender. Judge people based on their merit and character. Not by things they have no say over.

I’ll respect your made-up name and pronouns but you will never force me to alter mine.

My DMs are open and my resume is polished.

sounds like someone who's never been discriminated against for their race, sexual preference, or gender

On a daily basis for 5 years.

It sucks. Screw those people.

We are all so incredibly diverse in our thoughts and actions that it is ludicrous to pass judgement on entire group based on skin color, gender, or sexual preferences. It's wrong to assume that someone's unalterable identity determines their mentality.

In my opinion, what truly matters is a person's character and merit. It's important to focus on these qualities rather than preconceived stereotypes.

PS:

It's worth noting that the ad hominem fallacy is irrelevant to the main argument. Criticizing my personal circumstances does not address the issue at hand. Just because one may or may not have experienced discrimination doesn't mean that they can't empathize with it.

I believe in treating people with respect. However, my problem comes in when a group attempts to impose their beliefs on others.
