Fuck. For how long has Signal been compromised?
It used to be something I cared about, then I stopped caring, now I care again.
There is no guarantee of privacy in any form of communication, as any member of a group can record and share the content of conversations. The only way to ensure complete privacy is to engage in a conversation with oneself only.
That's why the correct approach is not total secrecy but plausible deniability.

Easy to assume, but doesn't necessarily mean Signal is compromised. IMO, one of the big wig types that worked with CZ from the US was likely a mole. "Brian Brooks has stepped down as the Chief Executive Officer of Binance.US just months into his tenure due to disagreements over strategic direction."
Looks like only signal metadata to me.
