More English speakers, better food, appreciate tourism more, more sophisticated , more relatable . I met two French guys that were great ambassadors and def changed my perspective and were really open to learning from me
I was expecting to like Spain more too but def not. Both countries have big multiculturalism problems but the French seem to be more aware of it being a problem now
They are much friendlier which I didn’t expect at all lol they get a bad rep in the US as rude
Also French sounds much nicer than Spanish lol . I think Spain was a disappoint bc they were legit socialists disconnected from the rest of Europe the longest
And since they don’t speak English they are more controlled by the state propaganda still, free speech is in English. France feels much more capitalistic . More free of a market / environment . Ppl care more
