#AskNostr why is a hard fork unwanted? Why are plebs afraid of it/against it?

A part of my logic thinks it would be good...

For the best, hardest and purest money humanity has seen in a hot minute, maybe even ever.

"

-Prune the rot, so the plant can flourish.

-Who's swimming naked will be evidenced when the tide goes out.

-The best money will win.

-The proof is in the pudding, so to speak.

Etc...

"

Seems like a lot of plebs don't want to trust humanity OR the principles of the natural laws (of money and value trade).

Context: monetary history, but also... 2017 and 18 there were lots of Bitcoin Forks. Gold, Unlimited, Diamond, Cash...

The best money won.

I mean.

Make the miners choose. Make plebs choose. It's just more choices.

Either we believe Bitcoin can win or we don't?

Hard fork means network split right? 2 separate Bitcoins (again)?

I agree that's the solution if 2 sides can't agree on how to run it
