This is a terrible analogy but the onion packet (that consists of the hop data/payloads) that is routed along ⚡️ channels can be seen as a real life onion 🧅 used in cooking.

The 🧅 is an indispensable ingredient in many dishes & we can prep and serve it, in many different ways.
