A backdoor implemented by the government gets exploited by the bad guys. This is why you can't put a backdoor in encryption software, we've been saying this for years!

Just to be clear, I am in no way saying that the government are the good guys.

Adding the backdoor was the original crime. Who will go to jail for it?

There is going to be a full investigation and those responsible will get hefty sentences. No there won't, it will get brushed under the carpet like all the other government sculduggery
