The problem is that the decision about buying new cars are mainly taken by women, and there's much more feelings than reason involved.

women are the achilles heel of human society

Not if they submit themselves to men, the Arab countries that maintained their traditions have a lot to teach to the Christians in that regard, and look at their society it still works fine, couple have children and life goes on.

funny that the crusade against christianity continues, how about that olympic opening ceremony travesty???

I'm against all that as I'm a Christian myself, but the Arabs maintained more good values than us in a cultural way. That's exactly my point the Christian west suicide itself culturally denying all good values and embracing satanism till the point of these ridiculous things as the Olympics and etc.

For example, people in Egypt can better define what is woman than people in Germany lol

yeah, it's really bad

i wandered off the the path in my youth too but all the christians here on #nostr helped me return

reading The Apocalypse of Yajnavalkya and The Book of Enoch also kinda helped as well - i am not convinced the available texts of Christianity are all really legitimate, but there is a preponderance of legitimacy in them

Enoch especially with how clear it makes it that angels are essentially humans, clears up so much of the mess of understanding all the references to it - and the Watchers (who are fallen angels) - and then there is the cross-referencing you can do over many other myths and legends from many other societies that all line up with this

so, i believe it is basically correct, and one of the most important commandments of the Lord (leader of the angels) is to make bbq and give thanks - i know that sounds silly but the right food, the right ceremony to it, it is really important to the health of the body and weak bodies make weak minds

on that note, time to cook some goat meat

Yes nostr is really amazing in that regard, also I never went deep like that into Apocalypse and Enoch.

i highly recommend it

i'm pretty much convinced that at some point in the next 20 years there will literally be a swarm of them coming to pick up the righteous and leave the damned to the inevitable pole shift disaster that is gonna hit sometime between 2035 and 2050

i just need to find a few more signs to confirm it but that's my working hypothesis - and the new heaven and teh new earth is going to be a planet they have prepared for us to live on, and we will be able to come back here - and enoch makes it pretty clear that this planet is going to be almost completely sterilised by this upcoming disaster event

Nobody knows the future, and as Mises wrote it depends also on our choices and on human action.

the forces that exist in thet stars in our galaxy act on such vast time scales, and with the right technology, the conditions of our earth's crust and core can be known, and it literally says it in Revelation as well as Enoch that the up coming end times are going to be exceptional

according to the best science we have currently, one of the disaster cycles about 72000 years ago only 5000 humans survived, this can happen again, the certainty of the mutagenic effects of the disrupted magnetic field of the earth in this process and the total loss of so many species we know of from fossils all combine to suggest that the story the ancients left for us may well be correct

also, Mises, in Human Action, had a very interesting section discussing the matter of "omnipotent" and "omniscient" leaving the question open as an "unknowable"

me, i can't believe in a God who is not omniscient

to me, an omnipotent God is a cruel god, whose main actions are rugging His creation

an omniscient God commands respect, he ALWAYS knows, everything he did was correct, his actions were completely considered before they were taken, and it is immaterial that he "cannot" change them - it's more an issue of "why would He?"

Indeed, Mises was so intellectual honest!

yeah, it was pretty clear tho, that he was a Christian

people who are both Christian and scientists are the most important people in the world, and in history

when you really dig deep into the details of His Creation you know it cannot be "accidental"

He was Jewish by blood and agnostic AFAIK

most likely, the nazis hunted him and he only just escaped, and all his library was burned

not just a jew but deeply opposed to, and vocal about his opposition, and very clear in his reasoning, why he was opposed to socialism

indeed, from the superficial reading, both christianity and islam's main texts seem to open up the potential for corrupting both religions with socialist ideas, though like you say, the muslims are probably more proof against it, in the West christianity has basically been coopted, the 70s and 80s with the thatchers and reagans saw to it that the public image of christianity was thoroughly tainted

this kind of false piety is used by power to break the social cohesion enabled by these religions, it's tragic...

personally, i always hated atheism, when i was off the path my thing was ... idk exactly... ontological anarchy, psychedelic illumination, taoism... part of my road back to Christ had to do with reading the Qur'an where it talks about how there can only be one God because many would annihilate the universe

True, Mises was once the "Batman of Berlin" and had his office burned. Then run away to USA from the Nazis almost getting killed.

Yes, maybe I'm not smart enough to think about those calculations. The way I see it is to try being a good catholic and be ready to die.
