But I have to admit, as someone who knows people working in coast guard. Either do NOT do this, or tell absolutely no one when you do it and accept your death willingly along with the fact that to your loved ones, you'll potentially be a missing person forever with no closure for them.

I know this is a dark take, and a total buzzkill, but this is a reality check.
