Seriously. The VPN biz is likely booming in France and Brazil rn. What is the most surveillance free VPN in the US? Preference for getting a household-wifi-wide one, I think.

It isn’t. Brazilians don’t pay for anything. They are mostly relying on nostr:npub1sj5hp07nd6f6jz84sfxlj26rykre6hg0tpccu5urnnruxuafuhysdnapmw because it is free.

Hmmm, if it’s free, you are are the product. Govt back door risks?

I kinda trust nostr:npub18q57qr3t07qljnapzqldaqa7ru2qwfpfnjdrwvhk327n3sc82f0qqwrs6f. They offer sort of a freemium product. Almost everything is free but then there is those cool to have features that requires premium. Offering free VPNs is a way to capitalize on other privacy focused services. They must earn to exist after all. The only constraint is that Swiss courts may force them to record metadata. So they are a no-go for those seeking privacy for more nefarious purposes.
