you're setting everyone up to use custodial sats (nuts) until they figure out that they can withdraw them. it's a solution, but it's not one that im fully on-board with yet.

I'm not setting anyone up, just imagining how this could scale to remove the friction of making everyone download a payment app as soon as they arrive.
Getting zapped is part of the magic that makes the Nostr sticky, and we should be experimenting with new ways to make it easier to get started.
nuts are just custodial sats with a privacy layer. it's not a solution to stop people using custodians.
This is making me want to run my own mint now.
