Is there an accurate way to figure out how many followers you have? I know it doesn’t matter, but I am curious. Tapping my followers on Damus gives me wildly different numbers each time.

I loaded my profile on Snort and let it sit there for like a minute (assuming that relays need to catch up) and it landed on a hard number and I confirmed it by doing it again.
I search for my username on nostr.band. I’m not sure if that’s accurate either but it’s like 3x higher than what Damus says 😂

one day damus will integrate a stats API and fix all these issues. You just can’t right now at the base protocol level because there is no global consensus. Your follower count depends on what relays you’re connected to.
