The online safety bill is about to be passed in the UK and it is an insane bill. It will require online platform providers to implement and #DigitalID system for all their users and to install government-approved software so the UK government can access all content and communications of their users. Penalties and fines both for platform providers and users are steep. With this bill, the UK wants to end online #privacy and #anonymity.
