Testnet is great. Faucets still work. You can convert your nostr pubkey into a testnet taproot address, and send some to yourself. Thereby proving that your account existed before June 2023.

I've never used testnet.

Only mainnet, regtest, and signet. And the majority of testing on mainnet.
