so, not only did the sun wake up two days ago and choose violence, we now have had 6 major CME bursts so there is a reasonable possibility of some grids blowing out across the world, depending on how much hits at once

i'm not really gonna mind so much as long as it doesn't fry my hardware, being without power isn't so bad, and probably won't last long considering a lot of the power here comes from a bunch of windmills up on the hill right next door, likely that resuming service will only take a little while at least for part of the time this is going on
