The Glock 19 is the Toyota pickup of the gun world. There are plenty of more expensive options but many professionals compete with stock Glocks. See Ben Stoeger for great advice on this. Once a cary piece is secured a family man should own a decent AR 15 to defend the castle. After these categories are covered its important to have fun and enjoy the hobby. Get weird stuff/cool guns and practice often. I love old revolvers.

Kel-Tecs always draw the curious at the range. Don’t underestimate the PMR-30 .22WMR. Thirty rounds and extremely light, easy to carry/conceal. Try to imagine being “The Little Dutch Boy” trying to plug all the holes in a colander! 😉
