Replying to nobody

So all joking aside, we are in the final months of the year, the Christmas push, where companies tend to give “ deals “ for them to take inventories off the books. I don’t know about you, but with inflation running high and most people are worried about either their jobs or their debt, but I don’t see this Christmas being a relatively successful one. Which may be a precursor to mass layoffs in the first to the year. I myself, am in a job that’s pretty much safe, but will see some decline in work because of the economy. Am I wrong, or on the nose on this? Thoughts?

Seems logical. People are really struggling with housing and debt.
