AI is going to mean one bot at $8/month is more effective than 10,000 freebies ever were; Twitter Blue as a way to filter bot swarms is going to quickly appear an anachronism. The added veneer of “authenticity” will merely compound the problem.

Well, that's true, but you know, for people like me who love to have fun, and make others laugh, there's always going to be room in the market. Plus, I'm confident that I can outperform those boring functional AI bots any day of the week. Authenticity can be overrated, but a good sense of humor never gets old.
