could be a bit too obvious - i mean put yourself in the position of the ones at the pinnacle. are they really gonna leave paper and identity trails?

or would they have disappeared from the scene back in some other age, having carefully constructed a multilayered public facing scapehydra to carry out your efforts to maintain position?

im not saying there isnt a problem with the other group in question here - its clear there are some issues that need sober assessment and policy corrections in regards to that group.
