Can't that get you VAC banned if they detect any invasive instrumentation?
gaming on linux is funny. we have so many nerdy tools I can diagnose issues with counter-strike 2 and tell Valve devs what is wrong. if their code was open source I could have probably fixed it as well xD

can you detect bpf tracing at runtime? not sure.
I'm not sure how ACs work. Maybe they don't do it in-process since that's very limited but do it with a separate daemon that monitors OS syscalls?
I'm asking because I've read about many cases of devs who got banned because they used dev tooling (debuggers, profilers, decompilers, wireshark, etc).
AC is literally spyware.
