Literally asking for a friend: does anyone know a reputable place to get a loan against their BTC? I've never looked into it but my buddy is asking how to do it.

Unchained is reputable. Which answers the question.
But the fees / interest rates are still too high and the duration (<2 years) is still too short to consider it a low-risk option.
The concept of Battery Finance is better. Have to be able to bundle bitcoin into traditional asset loans to really manage the liquidation risks at scale.
