Axe restoration in the making.
Found this rusty axe head on my land and after a lot of work getting the rust removed and polishing it soon time to put everything together.
Any tips on attaching the axe head on the handle are appreciated 😄

How long did it take to get from first pic rust to second pic like new?
Haven’t really time tracked it.
But I’ve used an angle grinder with different flap disc.
Getting through the heavy rust and dents took most time (couple of hours overall), but when it was even I just used some finer disc’s a couple of times.
And topped it off with some polishing past.
Great therapy work 😅
