My thoughts on food, as a person who has kept off most of over 60 lbs since 2018, completely cutting out carbs and sugar is hard. Count your calories, lose it app is great if it's available for you, EVERYONE says it's hard it just becomes a habit after a while. If you're craving a candy bar, eat the damn candy bar instead of suffering and eating 6 when you decide to say screw this I do what I want. Do better next time. It's a lifestyle change and you have to give yourself some leeway. I eat chips, I eat sweets, I would rather have cauliflower rice than regular, and I like lentil noodles ๐คทโโ๏ธ. Sorry for the long reply, but I like to share my positive experience with changing how I eat and look at food.
