Month and a half since I quit drinking and smoking.

I wasn't a smoking raging alkoholic, but still, had the stuff around basically daily. On BTC Prague was I quite drunk literally all the time, if we met there.

Worst is I sense no change in anything. It's boring.๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ˜…

Heads up. I don't drink too.

But I smoke. And I can't quit. I managed to quit smoking once but after a few months I smoked again.

Best part is that this one time it was a spontaneous decision just to not buy new cigarettes.

Even if you don't feel a change now, I bet you will feel it soon.

Wish I could do it with food. That's the main problem. Other drugs never appealed to me in long term, I stopped smoking few times and never was actual smoker in a first place. I just have enough and drop it.

But junk food has too many forms, sweet and salty, never boring๐Ÿ˜‘

My thoughts on food, as a person who has kept off most of over 60 lbs since 2018, completely cutting out carbs and sugar is hard. Count your calories, lose it app is great if it's available for you, EVERYONE says it's hard it just becomes a habit after a while. If you're craving a candy bar, eat the damn candy bar instead of suffering and eating 6 when you decide to say screw this I do what I want. Do better next time. It's a lifestyle change and you have to give yourself some leeway. I eat chips, I eat sweets, I would rather have cauliflower rice than regular, and I like lentil noodles ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ. Sorry for the long reply, but I like to share my positive experience with changing how I eat and look at food.

I feel a tiny bit of a brain fog goes away when I don't drink for a month or so. It's ok I guess :).
