Question, What's the point of washing? Are you pressing flower or hash?
Discussion
During the wash you remove almost everything off the plant you want to smoke or process. I only press the bubble hash. I’ve pressed cured flower before but the color and consistency are up to the standards of the market for rosin. The color and viscosity are very different. Live Rosin’s value is derived from both of those attributes.
I started down this road because I like to smoke. Therefore I asked myself what’s the healthiest way to smoke. I kept going down the road until I got here. Then I don’t trust the market so I started my own company and started growing my own stuff. Trust is lacking in this industry and to many shortcuts are being taken that effect the end product.
Yeah, I've grown my own and I'd usually always have surplus of flour. I enjoy smoking joints occasionally, but I honestly kind of prefer dabs. Usually when I press Rosin it's from flower and I'm gonna be upgrading a press too soon to a 12 ton press versus a hand crank. So I was wondering if it was worth the extra step of making bubble hash.
Flower*
Quality forsure!! It’s fine wine vs grape juice.
Alright, after this year's harvest, I think I'm going to have to make some bubble hash. I still have a bunch of trim I can use from last year as well.
Trim is ok. A smokable product definitely comes out but the quality is best used for food. Gummies cookies etc.
