It's a Chinese AI company that has allegedly made breakthroughts with relation to cost in development of their models. The problem is there is no way to verify these claims.

1) All major Chinese companies are State sponsored.

2) I allege they have much more hardware than they let on.

3) I allege they are hiding energy and equipment costs or simply don't consider them because they are subsidized by the the State.

4) There are also rumors they've been working on these models for years and thus it isn't quite the revolutionary breakthrough people are making it out to be.

Besides that, I will say I think their methodology could help shave *some* costs for people that don't need the Cadillac of LLMs. They use less depth, phrasing, and some other shit to get better efficiency versus having a more complete model.
