Did the same a while back but have yet to send a message using it. Maybe because it is on mobile only is my issue. It seems like an overly complex UX interface.
yeah, I also would prefer a simpler "more focused" UI... It seems it try to be a super app like wechat

Thanks for the mention. I've tried it out, good experience so far. Feels good to find the privates messages there.
Nostr has everything, personally I'm just missing forums. Short messages are, but miss browsing folders with specific topics of messages inside.
Nowadays all folders (topics) only have one level of conversations and don't make it easy to create/dig inside specific topics.
Even 4chan keeps this feature.
